Timelapse Residence FAGUS, Junglinster (LUX)

A new residential complex is currently being built in Junglinster. It is a hybrid construction in which the base is made of reinforced concrete, while the subsequent floors are constructed from prefabricated wooden elements. These timber components are delivered to the construction site as individual wall segments and assembled on site.

In the below time-lapse video, you can see how these wall panels come together on the construction site. As the panels are precisely manufactured in a factory and later erected on site, this method reduces the construction time of the shell of the building. This process is made possible through careful pre-planning.

A material ecologist oversees the project and carefully monitors each material used in terms of sustainability and other ecological aspects.
